Ouroborus

Friday, March 3rd, 2006

A few months back I began work on a new audio sequencing application as a follow up project to the infamous BitFilper 9k. The bit flipping is officially discontinued unless someone else would like to pick it up and run with it. In which case more power to you.

My new application is named Ouroborus. This time out I’m adding a little twist… I’m forgoing Microsoft and crossing over to the aqua lands of OSX. Yes thats right I’m handing in my visual studio for a copy of X-Code and a dream for a better tomorrow…. ‘JK’ I’ll always love you Redmond… sorta.

I’ll be setting up a subversion repository and will check in the carbon code base for any of you code monkeys to fiddle with. Take it, love it, embrace the freeness. Kiss the Ouroborus ring and you will be saved… don’t quote me on that… but i hear someone was saved once at least… maybe.

Someone reads this!

So yesterday I saw my old Sony Music compatriate David Paris. He informed me the trouble with blogging is that someone may actually read it… followed directly by “Hows the ninja training going?” HAHAHAH. So now at least I know that at one point on one day at the very least one person has read this utter drivel. David Paris you are a god amongst men and I salute you.

Anyway… I will try to be a tad more prolific in the coming month as I feel like I have clearly been quite lazy about this whole blog business.

PS I’m getting married tomorrow… Watch out world!
