Bit Flipper 9k

Tuesday, November 8th, 2005

Now available for download. My first foray into the world of digital music sequencing software development. I wrote this as my sr project at Columbia a few years back. Download the project and have a look.

While I was developing this app (I lovingly named it the Bit Flipper 9k || BF9K for short) I found a surprising lack of documentation about all things drum machine so I figured I would post this and maybe it will be helpful to someone out there.

If anyone out there wants to add change or improve this in any way I would love the help.

The BF9K is a 8 track step sequencer written in c++. It runs on Windows NT or better and was built using the WIN32 API and Directx.
There is a Visual Studio .NET project file along with all the source and resource files. Your welcome to do what you wish with them. If you use my code give me a shout at matt@wiredset.com and let me know. Also a shout out in your app would be nice but I really dont care.

There are a few caveats.
-unimplemented controls
-various bugs
-many more

use at your own risk
